Born on December 14 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
Graduated from faculty of journalism of MSU of M. Lomonosov, department of TV radio; a special course on art history at the Tallinn Art University.
From 1972 to 2001 – from the correspondent — to the editor-in-chief of newspapers, magazines and radio in Tallinn. Author and host of programs and program cycles, documentaries.
Winner of journalistic awards, international festivals of documentary cinema and television.
The member of the International Federation of Journalists – International Federation of Journalists.
Board member of the International academy of television and radio.
